Connections
The Teranex Mini IP Video 12G features one 10-bit SDI video input supporting HD-SDI, 6G-SDI, and 12G-SDI formats. It provides two 10-bit SDI video outputs with the same format compatibility. For network connectivity, a Gigabit Ethernet port supports 3G-SDI up to 1080p60 using TICO encoding and decoding, while an optional 10G optical data Ethernet interface supports Ultra HD up to 2160p60 with TICO encoding and decoding. The device supports multi-rate operation with automatic detection of HD-SDI, 6G-SDI, or 12G-SDI. Firmware updates and IP configuration can be performed via USB 2.0 (high-speed 480Mb/s) or Ethernet. All SDI outputs feature reclocking with auto-switching between HD, 6G-SDI, and 12G-SDI video formats.
Supported Video Standards
For HD video, the unit supports 720p at 50, 59.94, and 60 fps; 1080i at 50, 59.94, and 60 fps; 1080p from 23.98 up to 60 fps; and 1080PsF from 23.98 to 30 fps. In 2K DCI formats, it supports progressive and PsF at 23.98, 24, and 25 fps. Ultra HD video formats include 2160p from 23.98 up to 60 fps. For 4K DCI, it supports 23.98, 24, and 25 fps.
