The Mini Converter SDI to Audio 4K is equipped with one SD, HD, or 6G-SDI video input along with an alternate SDI input for automatic switchover in case the main input fails. It offers one SDI video loop output and features redundant SDI inputs for uninterrupted signal flow. For audio output, it provides four channels of professional balanced analog audio via standard 1/4-inch jack connections, and eight channels of professional balanced digital audio using the same connector type. The converter supports multi-rate auto detection for SD, HD, and 6G-SDI, includes USB connectivity for updates and configuration, and offers reclocking for enhanced signal integrity.

Supported Standards
The converter supports a wide range of video formats, including SD standards such as 525i59.94 NTSC and 625i50 PAL; HD formats including 720p50/59.94/60, 1080p23.98/24/25/29.97/30/50/59.94/60, 1080PsF23.98/24/25/29.97/30, and 1080i50/59.94/60; 2K DCI formats at 23.98p, 24p, and 25p (as well as PsF variants); Ultra HD formats including 2160p23.98/24/25/29.97/30; and 4K DCI formats at 23.98p, 24p, and 25p. It complies with SMPTE 259M, 292M, 296M, 372M, ST-2081, ITU-R BT.656, and ITU-R BT.601 standards. SDI video rates are automatically detected between SD and HD, with support for both 4:2:2 and 4:4:4 video sampling, YUV and RGB color space, and 48kHz/24-bit audio sampling.

Software and Control
The Mini Converter can be configured and updated via Mac™ and Windows™ compatible software through the USB connection. Internal software upgrades are performed using the included updater application. The unit is compatible with macOS 10.15 Catalina and 11.1 Big Sur or later, as well as Windows 10 (64-bit). Settings can be adjusted using the built-in mini switches or through USB software control.

Power Requirements
The converter operates on a +12V universal power supply, included with international socket adapters to suit most countries, and features a cable tie point for secure installation. It has a power consumption of 5.52 watts and supports an operational voltage range of 12V to 31V DC.

Environmental Specifications
The operating temperature range is 0° to 40°C (32° to 104°F), while the storage temperature ranges from -20° to 45°C (-4° to 113°F). The device can operate in relative humidity levels from 0% to 90% non-condensing.
