The Mini Converter SDI to Analog features 1 x SD, HD, or 1.5G-SDI video input, along with 1 x ALT SDI input for automatic switch-over if the main input fails. It includes 1 x SDI loop output for signal passthrough and supports SDI rates of 270Mb and 1.5G. For analog video output, it provides NTSC, PAL, S-Video, and component SD/HD from the 1.5G-SDI input. Audio connections include 2 channels of professional balanced analog audio via standard 1/4-inch jacks and 2 channels of balanced AES/EBU digital audio. The redundant SDI input ensures uninterrupted operation, and multi-rate support allows automatic detection of SD, HD, or 1.5G-SDI signals.
Standards & Formats
This converter supports a wide range of SD video standards, including 525i59.94 NTSC and 625i50 PAL, as well as HD video standards like 720p50, 720p59.94, 720p60, and various 1080p, 1080PsF, and 1080i formats. SDI compliance adheres to SMPTE 259M, SMPTE 292M, SMPTE 296M, SMPTE 372M, SMPTE 424M level B, SMPTE 425M level B, ITU-R BT.656, and ITU-R BT.601 standards. The SDI input supports auto detection between SD, HD, and level B 3G-SDI, with 4:2:2 video sampling, a YUV color space, and television standard audio sampling at 48 kHz and 24-bit.

For analog output, the converter supports formats such as 525i29.97 NTSC, 625i50 PAL, 720p50, 720p59.94, 720p60, and multiple 1080p and 1080i formats. It maintains YUV color space and 4:2:2 color precision. A built-in HD to SD down converter enables seamless format conversion for compatibility with older equipment.
Software & Control
The Mini Converter is compatible with both Mac (Mac 10.15 Catalina, Mac 11.1 Big Sur, or later) and Windows 10 (64-bit) systems. Configuration can be managed via mini switches or USB-connected software control, with firmware updates available through the included updater application.

The unit operates on a +12V universal power supply, included with international socket adapters for worldwide use, and a cable tie point for secure installation. Power consumption is 8.04 watts, with an operational voltage range of 12–15V DC.
