The Mini Converter SDI Distribution includes one SDI video input that is switchable between standard definition (SD), high definition (HD), and 3G-SDI formats. It features eight SDI video outputs which automatically match the format of the incoming SDI signal, allowing seamless distribution without manual adjustment.

This device offers automatic detection and support for SD, HD, and 3G-SDI video standards. It also supports reclocking to maintain signal integrity and prevent signal degradation across distribution outputs.

Supported Video Standards
The converter supports a wide range of SD video formats including 525i59.94 NTSC and 625i50 PAL. HD video standards supported cover 720p at 50, 59.94, and 60 fps, as well as multiple 1080i and 1080p formats, including progressive segmented frame (PsF) modes. For 2K video, it supports Digital Cinema Initiatives (DCI) standards at 23.98p, 24p, and 25p including PsF variants.

SDI Compliance and Video Rates
The product complies with key SMPTE standards such as 259M, 292M, 296M, 372M, and SMPTE 424M and 425M level B, alongside ITU-R BT.656 and BT.601 standards. SDI video inputs are auto-detected across standard definition, high definition, and level B 3G-SDI formats.

Video and Audio Sampling
The device supports SDI video sampling in both 4:2:2 and 4:4:4 chroma subsampling formats and SDI audio sampling at the television standard sample rate of 48 kHz with 24-bit depth. It works with both YUV and RGB color spaces.

Auto Switching and Additional Features
Automatic switching functionality detects and adjusts between SD, HD, and 3G-SDI inputs. Additionally, the unit supports ASI (Asynchronous Serial Interface) data transport.
