Connections

The Micro Converter SDI to HDMI 3G features 1 SDI video input supporting SD, HD, or 3G-SDI formats, and 1 SDI loop output for signal pass-through. It includes an HDMI Type-A output for direct connection to HDMI displays. Multi-rate support enables automatic detection of SD or HD signals. For updates, configuration, and power, it is equipped with a USB Type-C port.

Standards & Video Support
This converter is compatible with a wide range of SDI video standards, including 525i59.94 NTSC and 625i50 PAL. It supports HD video standards such as 720p50, 720p59.94, 720p60, and multiple 1080p frame rates from 23.98 fps to 60 fps, along with 1080PsF and 1080i formats. It also accommodates 2K DCI formats ranging from 23.98 fps to 60 fps, including PsF variations. The SDI interface complies with SMPTE standards 259M, 292M, 296M, 424M, and 425M. Video rates can be switched between SD, 720p, 1080i, 1080p, and 2K DCI resolutions.

Color Processing
SDI video supports 4:2:2 color precision with YUV color space, and the converter automatically detects SD, HD, and level A or B for 3G-SDI. HDMI video output matches the supported SDI formats and delivers 4:2:2 color precision in YUV space. Additionally, a 17-point LUT can be loaded via the software utility for calibrating or enhancing monitor color accuracy.

Settings & Software
Device settings can be managed using the MacOS or Windows software utility connected via USB. Supported operating systems include Mac 10.15 Catalina, Mac 11.1 Big Sur or later, and Windows 10 64-bit. Internal software upgrades are available via USB for easy firmware updates.

Power Requirements
The unit is powered by a +5V universal power supply, included with international socket adapters suitable for most countries. It consumes just 1.6 W of power and operates within a voltage range of 4.4V to 5.25V DC.

Environmental Specifications
The converter functions reliably in temperatures from 0° to 40°C (32° to 104°F), can be stored between -20° to 60°C (-4° to 140°F), and supports 0% to 90% non-condensing humidity levels.
