Connections

The device features a single SDI video input and one SDI loop-out for pass-through connectivity. For HDMI output, it is equipped with one HDMI 2.0 type A connector. It supports SDI data rates of 270Mb, 1.5G, 3G, 6G, and 12G, with multi-rate auto detection for SD, HD, 2K, Ultra HD, and 4K formats. Configuration, updates, and power delivery are handled via a USB Type-C interface.

The converter is fully compliant with SMPTE standards, including SMPTE 259M, 292M, 296M, 424M, 425M, 2081-1, 2081-10, 2082-1, 2082-10, 2084, and 2108-1.

Color and Signal Processing

The SDI connection supports 4:2:2 color precision and YUV color space. A 33-point LUT can be loaded via the software utility for accurate color calibration and monitor adjustment. SDI auto-switching allows the device to detect SD, HD level A/B for 3G-SDI, 2K DCI, Ultra HD, and 4K DCI formats automatically.
The HDMI output also supports 4:2:2 color precision, YUV color space, and LUT-based calibration.

Settings and Software

Settings can be configured using the MacOS™ or Windows™ software utility via a USB connection. The device supports internal software upgrades through USB for feature updates and performance improvements.

Power Requirements

The converter is powered by an included +5V universal power supply with international socket adapters, making it suitable for global use. Power consumption is rated at 4W maximum, with an operational voltage range from 4.4V to 5.25V DC.

The operating temperature range is 0° to 40° C (32° to 104° F), with a storage temperature range of -20° to 60° C (-4° to 140° F). The unit supports 0% to 90% relative humidity, non-condensing.
