Connections

The Blackmagic Cloud Store Mini 16TB offers a range of high-speed connectivity options. It includes one 10G Ethernet port (100/1000/10G BASE-T) and one 1G Ethernet port (100/1000 BASE-T) for lightning-fast data transfers. A USB-C 3.0 port (up to 5Gb/s) supports Ethernet over USB, enabling flexible device configuration and updates. Additionally, there's one HDMI monitor output for real-time visual monitoring of storage and network activity.

Computer Interface

File Sharing & Cloud Sync

This device uses the SMB protocol to enable seamless file sharing across up to 50 simultaneous computer connections. For remote collaboration, Blackmagic Cloud sync is supported along with Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3 sync, allowing you to securely mirror your media libraries across the globe.

Storage

The Cloud Store Mini 16TB utilizes high-performance M.2 NVMe SSDs, providing 16TB of total capacity with ultra-fast file read and write speeds. This configuration ensures that even large video files are accessible quickly and reliably.

Displays

The built-in HDMI monitor output supports 1080p50, 1080p59.94, and 1080p60 standards. The real-time dashboard displays device name, storage capacity and usage, Cloud Sync status, user activity, hardware health, storage map, and network data rate graphs. A front panel LED indicator provides visual cues—illuminating white during normal operation and red if a disk fault is detected.

Device Control

Device control and configuration are managed via USB-C or Ethernet, providing flexibility for on-site or remote management.

The Cloud Store Mini 16TB comes bundled with essential tools including:
