The Blackmagic Cloud Store Max 48TB is built with 4 x 10G RJ45 Ethernet ports (100/1000/10G BASE-T), allowing high-speed data access for multiple users simultaneously. It also includes a 100G QSFP28 Ethernet port, designed for extremely fast copper or optical fiber connections, making it ideal for broadcast and film environments. Additionally, a USB-C port (USB 3.0 up to 5Gb/s) supports Ethernet over USB for alternative network access and quick setup. For monitoring, it provides 1 x SDI and 1 x HDMI output, making real-time hardware status and sync monitoring easy and visual.

Computer Interface

File Sharing Protocol & Network

Cloud Synchronization

The unit supports seamless cloud syncing via Blackmagic Cloud and Amazon Web Services S3, allowing global file access and synchronization in real time. This ensures teams across the world can collaborate efficiently using the same file versions, synced directly from the Cloud Store Max.

Storage

Inside, the Cloud Store Max features M.2 NVMe SSD flash storage configured in a RAID 0 core, delivering a total capacity of 48TB. This RAID 0 configuration ensures lightning-fast read/write speeds ideal for high-resolution video and massive media files.

Displays

Both HDMI and SDI outputs support monitoring resolutions of 1080p50, 1080p59.94, and 1080p60, displaying key system information like device name, drive capacity and usage, sync activity, user traffic, and real-time network performance. Additionally, a built-in 2.2-inch LCD display on the front panel shows current settings and live status metrics.

Control

The built-in control panel features three buttons, a spin knob, and the 2.2-inch color screen, making it easy to navigate and configure system settings directly on the device. External configuration is also supported via USB-C or Ethernet.

Software Compatibility

Included are the Blackmagic Cloud Setup Utility and Blackmagic Proxy Generator Lite. Software upgrades can be handled via USB-C using the Cloud Setup Utility. This system integrates smoothly with Blackmagic workflows and third-party creative applications.
