Additionally, it features 1 x 100G QSFP28 Ethernet port, offering ultra-fast network connectivity using high-performance copper or optical fiber cables. A USB-C 3.0 port (up to 5Gb/s) supports both configuration and Ethernet over USB, ensuring seamless integration and management.

For real-time visual monitoring, the unit comes equipped with both SDI and HDMI video outputs, allowing users to view storage and network activity in Full HD (up to 1080p60).

Computer Interface & Control

The device can be controlled and configured through USB-C or Ethernet, providing flexibility for different environments. A built-in front panel control system includes three physical buttons, a color 2.2-inch LCD, and a spin knob, enabling direct access to device settings and system info without needing a computer.

Both SDI and HDMI monitor outputs support resolutions of 1080p50, 1080p59.94, and 1080p60, enabling visual monitoring of system activity. The output display shows detailed metrics including device name, storage usage, cloud sync status, user activity, hardware diagnostics, network data graphs, and storage maps.

Additionally, the front panel 2.2-inch LCD provides critical at-a-glance information such as system name, storage health, and operational status. A white LED strip indicates normal activity, while red alerts users to disk faults.

Software

The system comes pre-loaded with the Blackmagic Cloud Setup Utility and Blackmagic Proxy Generator Lite. Firmware updates are performed internally through the USB-C interface, ensuring smooth and consistent software performance across macOS and Windows platforms.
