There are 8 HDMI Type-A video inputs with 10-bit HD switching capability and 2-channel embedded audio. Additionally, it provides 3 HDMI video outputs with dedicated program outputs. For audio, the unit includes 2 XLR combo inputs with phantom power and 1 BNC 32-channel MADI digital audio input, while monitoring is supported by a 6.35mm headphone output.

Video Processing and Format Support

The ATEM Mini Pro ISO supports video input re-sync and frame rate/format conversion across all 8 HDMI inputs, ensuring seamless integration of different sources. Webcam output is supported via 2 USB-C ports, capable of streaming at 720p or 1080p. It allows 1 multi-view output that can be routed to HDMI, USB-C, or Thunderbolt connections. Standards include HD formats up to 1080p60, 1080i, and 720p resolutions, with 4:2:2 YUV sampling, 10-bit color precision, and support for the Rec. 709 color space.

Audio Capabilities

The ATEM Mini Pro ISO includes a 26-input x 2-channel audio mixer, supporting HDMI, MADI, XLR, and Thunderbolt sources. Audio processing is powered by Fairlight technology, with features such as a 6-band parametric EQ, compressor, gate, limiter, and full level and peak metering. Phantom power (+48V) is available for professional microphones, while analog input delay compensation is supported up to 8 frames.

Streaming and Recording

Streaming is supported natively with direct RTMP and SRT protocols via Ethernet or USB-C internet sharing. Up to 8 streaming sources can be integrated with mapped inputs. For recording, the unit offers CFExpress slots, USB-C recording, and network recording. It captures 8 HDMI ISO inputs as individual H.264 .mp4 files at up to 70 Mb/s, plus a program output file with AAC audio. Additionally, 26 channels of audio are recorded separately as 24-bit 48kHz WAV files. Switching events are stored as a DaVinci Resolve project (.drp) for seamless post-production.

Media and Multi-View

The unit features 2 media players with fill and key support. The media pool stores up to 20 still images and 200 frames in HD video format, supporting file types including PNG, JPEG, TIFF, GIF, and BMP. Multi-view monitoring is configurable for 4, 7, 10, 13, or 16 sources, displaying program, preview, inputs, media players, clean feeds, streaming status, and audio meters.

Software and Camera Control

The ATEM Mini Pro ISO integrates seamlessly with ATEM Software Control (Mac & Windows), providing advanced control, setup, and configuration. It supports camera control for most Blackmagic Design cameras, including focus, iris, zoom, gain, white balance, tint, shutter, ND filter, tally, color correction, and recording control.

Power and Environmental Specifications

Power is supplied via an external 12V adapter, with a maximum consumption of 120W. The unit is designed for professional environments, with an operating temperature of 5°C to 40°C (41°F – 104°F), storage temperature of -10°C to 60°C (14°F – 140°F), and relative humidity tolerance of 0–90% non-condensing.
